If you change the distributor the only hard part is making sure the engine is at top dead center before pulling it. If you get that correct it is a 1hr job. Mark the cap (old and new) which plug goes to which spot on the cap. Firing order is stand small block chevy 18435672. If you are looking at the belt drive, 1357 is on the right, 2468 is on the left.
That is just one of those numbers I grew up knowing that I will never be able to forget. LOL! Sort of like "8675309" anybody know that one?
