We expect some HI RES pics of this bad boy when it arrives!! I know I can't wait to see it.

And ya....Malibu is in disarray right now from a supply/production viewpoint. There are some bummed dudes over at the Malibu Crew Site and with reason. My boat is scheduled to arrive next week and if got pushed to June or July, I would be devastated.

Been reading the MaliBU debacle, what a mess.

Thinking some boats won’t be built at this point and with pending significant price increases coming for 2022, not a great time to buy a boat.

My dealer said 5-8% increase on '22s last weekend.

I could get an August build slot with likely late September/early October delivery but then I would just be paying to watch it in storage over the winter.

    First world problems.

5-8% seems a pretty high year over year increase if no content is added. I think Supra was appx 4% from 20 to 21 but with some features added as standard offsets the real increase.

I hope it's on the lower side but the market has us by the balls and apparently there is no shortage of folks willing to pay.

At some point customers will become alienated but I guess the logic is there are enough new ones to replace them.

Probably has thrown the wakeboat industry on its ear for a couple years.

Boats and gear are hot as a forest fire, what goes up will come down, pay to play in full swing.......all cliches apply and all logic out the window.

I feel lucky to have threaded the needle, selling my boat high, but still getting a strong discount on my 21.

Fairly confident I could sell my 21 for a nice financial gain if I wanted, but life isn’t about money to me.

Resin shortages and many components that come from China.

Resin shortage is forcing color changes (even SC has seen this).

Offshore components are stuck on ships that are backlogged to unload at port, snowball effect is no empty shipping containers to load more Chinese products on the next ships.

Boats are seeing the same supply issues that have the majority of the automobile production shut down or delayed. Shortages will last another 6-9 months.

Thats what I figured just curious if they had an official excuse or not haha

I deal with Generac Generators and they have basically said we can't get anyone to come into work is our main problem.
I heard Ford shut down some plants due to a combination of workers and parts??

I have an F150 on order and also work in automotive. The 2 F150 plants have be alternating shutdowns. They build as far ahead as they can until they run out of parts then pause to restock.

There are all sorts of shortages in auto, plastic resin, rubber, semiconductors to name a few.

GM and Ford have focused supply to prioritize keeping truck production going (trucks are their money makers), but it’s all hand and mouth right now.

My Truck shows it’s built and waiting for a shipping date. It gets here when it gets here, I don’t get excited about new vehicles anymore.
