2019 Moomba Max surfing question

That's a nice wave, very tall. What is your speed?. I bet you could speed up an extra 1-1.5 miles, add a couple feet to the pocket and still have plenty of height. How much total weight is that?

I typically surf at 10.8-11 depending on water conditions. Those pics were with ~4,500 lbs of ballast. This season I’ll have a little over 5,000 lbs with the additional 500 lbs of lead I’ve added. This is another angle to give an idea of pocket size with last years ballast setup at 10.8 mph...





Of course sometimes it’s fun to mess around with settings and make insane looking waves lol....
