Outstanding! I think this is something we could tackle in the off season. I pulled all my own skins last time and took them to a very reasonably priced pro. Might take a stab at doing it myself next time. I have about 3 pieces that could be replaced already.

You can buy cheaper materials and sell the machine when done to keep the costs down.

Sometimes there's just not enough beer...


I may attempt to make a new cushion for behind my driver seat at some point in the future and I'll definitely be looking back on this when the time comes.

What machine would you recommend? I saw one the other day at a fabric store for about $150 that looked pretty heavy duty. We are redoing our poolside lounge chairs now and the little Singer is barely handling it.

I had no problem with 4-5 layers of vinyl with mine...Should be listed in the how to...

Maybe it's the needle? They wear out...

Never even thought about the needle. It's not a HD machine though. It's a wimpy one.
