Does anyone know off hand if the hole on the thermostat housing is
3/8" or 1/2" ? I got a 2010 lsv. indmar 325 thx

Pretty sure they are 1/2". If you look at the pics, I see "1/2" on one of the 90 degree brass fittings.

Is there any reason I shouldnt install the "Y" fitting on the return line of the heater. instead of hooking the return line back to the engine block? They say the y fitting helps increase teh circulation at idle.. any input?
