Hey, Newty - You use one of your ballast pumps to get water to the top of the water slide? Kinda puzzled on that one. - Deerfield

Hey, tell me more about the Boogie Boarding. We brought back the two boards we bought in Maui in March, but haven't gotten around to figuring out what to do with them boat-wise and have all but forgotten about them.
    - How far behind the boat?
    - What speed?
    - It looks like they're fairly close, just beyond normal surf distance perhaps? If so, any complaints about eating exhaust gases being that low to the water?

    Thanks.

    Newty,

Looks like a great time. How long a drive is that from Portland? And where do you stay?

I just flipped the surf rope around and used a carrabeaner to clip it to the leash attatchement. Then I attatched the other end of the rope to the cleat on the surf side because I found it was hard to get the kids in the wave unless they started on the side. Standard surf speed, rope length... I just slid the rope back to where it looked like they were in the wave. It was really easy to pull them by hand because the wave pushed them pretty well, so we just adjusted the rope and half hitched it to the cleat. My wife tried it and said she didn't notice anything as far as exhaust.

Cab, roughly 5 hours 300 miles. We stay at the crescent bar condos. There are also the Sun Serra condos and a couple campgrounds.

Here is some info on the place. http://www.selectrentals.com/
There are some lease issues with the county and next year may be the last for these condos but there are other places like sunserra to stay.
