Some of the differences if you want to get more technical about the SC and the SA
SC is a couple inches wider in the main cabin due to the 102 beam
The SC is also 4 inches Deeper in the seating thought the entire boat
The SC is 10 inches shorter then the SA but thats due to the Bow and the Sun Pan on the SC is very small.
The SC still retain the 200 hard tank in the rear and the 500 in the floor
The SC has Plug and Play for the rear Lockers, and the IBS so you can plug bags in and the main pumps in the boat will fill and drain with no other changes
The SC also has the same tower as the SA BUT it has interior panels on the inside and you can color match the outside panel to blenb better with your boat colors.
The new SC front hull is designed to keep the nose low in the water when surfing, and it had ridges that are specific to surfing so when you slow down the water is pushed away from the nose to reduce incoming rollers.
There is also on the rear of the boat, looking at the current Black and White SC where the Black is on the rear 1/4 is a 1/2 inch lip and this is used to help shape the surf wave.Malo <--- Means--Evil or Mean One. This explains a lot.

[QUOTE=wolfeman131;222674]stock ballast
I believe capacity is a NMMA formula based on gross weight of vessel, less factory ballast divided by some arbitrary avg weight per person. Has nothing to do with # of seats, configuration, etc.
My LSV has 1800#s of stock ballast, and an 1800# capacity. Does this mean I can't get in the boat when the ballast is full?Nate

correct. you are to fill the boat and then sit on the dock while I take your boat out for a proper surf session.
