    Does that make sence?

How did you get the original scupper out of the boat?, I tried on mine and that thing will not budge, yes i did remove the 4 screws and the big nut on the inside.
I don't think the Tsunami will give me any trouble, a little water may trickle out on acceleration, but it is 90 degrees straigt up to the thru hull. I was hoping that water would force its way past the pump a little to help prime the pump. My rear bags are almost in the same exact configuration and I have not had issues with them.

The scupper....that thing is a pain in the butt to get off. I removed the four screws, romoved the large nut, drank a beer, tried to push it from the top and it didn't budge, went underneath the boat and tried cutting caulk without cutting the boat, drank a beer tried to push it from up top again still wouldn't budge, drank two beers to think about a new plan of attack, came up with a plan and drank a beer, forgot the plan of attack and started to loose interest in saving the old scupper; probably at this point I should have quit but I didn't want all that beer to have been drunk in vain so at this point I couldn't give a "pile of poo" and I jumped in the boat with a large mallet and a 2X4, 1 HUGE smack and the scupper hit the floor like a bolt of lightning I probably should have done a few test taps instead of an over the head swing at the 2x4 (I am going to blame the beverages for that one) . Oh well at least the scupper was out. Drank a victory beer!!!!

funny as i did just about the same except... did not drink enough beer, only had one, to hit that scupper that hard. Grabbed the drill and just drilled some holes in the backside of the scupper-hope it will relieve enough presure up into the pumps and hoses.

Sounds like you have an easy problem to fix if the holes do not work, just drink more beer next time!!! I also took a thin screwdriver and pried carefully all the way around the scupper trying to not scratch the hull. It freed it up enough for the mallet and 2x4.

Hmmmm. I think I'd probably rate expert at scupper removal if I ever need to do it.

I was finishing up the install and realized I am one 90 degree fitting short. Anybody got an extra 1 1/8" quick connect they are not using? Are the ones from Flo rite the same as the ones from wakemakers?

Darn you daze, you did point out a flaw!!! Finally got around to doing some surfing and yes under way the low port started a syphon. I will be adding a cut off valve about 4-5 inches from the bag to stop that from happening.

On another note, HOLY CRAP batman this setup is fast!!! I need to get actual timings but I can fill my 550 lb bag in under 4 minutes. I flipped the switch and jumped in the water and before I could finish my beer water was SHOOTING out of the overflow port. I looked in the boat and was amazed that the bag just didn't explode I have never seen one stretch that far out!!! I will try and get some actual timings this upcoming weekend of the fill time of all of the bags.

They are just the 1" Irritrol 700 valves. I got them from sprinkler warehouse. Be careful using these valves though. Another member tried using these with a 3/4" scupper and the 2000gph pump and had issues with the valves not opening. I am running a 1" scupper and the 3800gph pump and it operates them just fine. Depending on what pump you go with, you may want to run the 3/4" version of the Irritrol 700s.
