The gray elbows are the two inlets. I should have been more clear. I left the big strainer for the cooling system intact. I deleted the strainer for the ballast as it would have worked on only one of the two lines anyway.
My Mom said I'm not allowed to get wet!

got it, what are the dimensions of the pvc you used? looks pretty simple, kinda like what jesse did on the larger irritol valves

It's all 1". Yes, I got the idea from Jesse and after talking with Daze yesterday while I was in Home Depot I decided to just make it. The whole thing was only about $15. I spent almost that much on the one piece of hose for the second side (forgot the hose clamps though).
