Codes 4236 and 4238 closed-loop fuel bank low, 1&2
Looking to salvage my labor day weekend since I am sure my dealer is booked.
But anyway, has any one dealt with those codes on both bank1 and bank2 and had an easy fix such as throwing new o2 sensors at it? Wont idle and barely makes it up on plane. New fuel filter had no effect. 2021 makai with 200hrs2021 Makai 450

Are you running wakemakers bags?
Are the bags pushing on the side walls to the engine?
The O2 sensors and wires are in a bad spot and the engine dividers get pushed into the cables. Both of these codes are the pre-cat sensor (1 on each side).
If the O2 wiring is damaged just throw new ones and you are good. Seeing how you got both, I would think you have an exhaust leak or bad gas. Other things to check would be water in the connectors.2015 Moomba Mojo Surf Edition

My bet is the engine panels have popped out fro. The wake bags, even the stock bags will do it, and are pushing in your sensors.

I have the panels reinforced to where they don't pop any more. It is wierd both sensors threw codes at the same time. Bad gas is an idea I might look into.
No obvious damage to the o2 wires. And connections look clean. Thanks for the input!2021 Makai 450

Can you reset them?
The engine will not run correctly once it is up to temp. The sensors run in open loop until the engine reaches operating temp then switches to closed loop and needs the pre-cat sensors for correct air/fuel delivery.
I'm guessing water in the fuel. Get yourself zero ethanol premium fuel and pour royal purple fuel cleaner in the tank.2015 Moomba Mojo Surf Edition

1 last thing....you got both faults at the same time? No visible damage? Boat is running rough?
Check ground cables. There is 1 on the engine that is just a boat that can vibrate loose. There are also several at the batteries and disconnect that can come loose.
This would easily cause this issue.2015 Moomba Mojo Surf Edition

After checking all connections and replacing all the fuel I still had the running rich issue. After calling Indmar to discuss the codes the tech told me the 2021s had some issues with map sensor failure. After changing mine the boat runs just fine.

MAP sensor is basically the sensor that monitors air quality into the engine and adds/subtracts fuel as needed. Failure will cause rich or lean condition and run poorly. Must be a marine application thing. The 6.2 Raptor motor only uses a MAP sensor until the enginebis at operating temp. It then switches to closed loop fuel mapping. MAP sensor also adjust for altitude.
