I wonder why they use an SA every year instead of showing off whatever the new model is for the year?

I’d hit it
2024 Supra SV 400 “SUPA DUPA”
2019 Moomba Max - sold"MOOMBAE"
2016 Yamaha AR192 - sold
maybe they talk to the team riders, or all the tour riders for preference? not sure, just a guess. I haven't spent a lot of time behind the SA wakeboarding and zero time behind the SL, but I think the SA may be slightly more vert and less rampy transition. there is probably a reason they use the boat they do.
My understanding is the pros prefer the SA wakeboard wake. The SA is probably the most wake board focused of the 4 models.

Sounds like they are making two of them. Usually you need to see them up close to appreciate the little touches.
2018 Supra SL400
Typically they make 5 wakeboard specific boats and 1 surf specific boat.
Each dealer hosting the 4 tour stops get one to sell new and the 5th is the boat used for the tour as well as the surf boat.
The PWT editions are $15k+ MSRP. That is an expensive SA550

I like this year's scheme compared to the overly busy wraps for the last few years!
