Hasn’t overheated yet. Helps that it’s vertical and my windshield is 5% tint.

Just alternative for us that don't have the pads built in is to use quick chargers in stead of the usb ports or cheapy chargers. I can go from 0 to 100 pretty quick, like an hour.

My iPhone overheated after only about an hour and it was 20 degrees C outside.

I now cover it up to keep it out of direct sunlight

Mine would definitely overheat. I now have 5% window tint and it would probably be fine however gotta admit I could see the Supra one being way more useful do to you don’t have to remove the phone from the charger to use and it should hold it there instead of jumping around
