Thanks, really digging hitting up the days the kids are in school. Great way to spend time with the wife and turn her into a proper boat captain. That river looks amazing....the lake I’m closest to has lots of sailboats....that should tell you the kind of water I’m used to. We just hug the shoreline the wind is coming off along with a million other sport boats!

It is a hifi, only other surf board we have is a hyperlite shim that is used by the 240+ crowd just learning. She tried it out and the thing had so much push her back leg cramped . Will have to look into the nub step boards y’all were using.

I did that this summer too. I was able to slack the rope goofy, but I was able to get about a 20 - 30 second freeride on the heelside.

Ha, I was opposite. I was able to surf a bit ropeless goofy, but kept crashing and burning heelside even with the rope.

Not Lake Powell but still pretty good.

The SL throws a massive wave. I’m running 100% all the way around and auto wake off. With 500lbs of lead spread around. Smart plate 20%, surf plate at 85%, speed off 11.4-11.6.

Quick trip to Powell?! Lucky to be living so close to such an amazing lake. Getting sweaty palms just looking at those cliffs and recalling my experience there years ago when I was lucky to visit.

That Lake Powell I keep seeing is almost enough to make a guy get out the c/card and fly over to visit, problem is I'd have to bring the whole family and spend the next 4 years paying it back!
    Spring has sprung....ooohhhhh getting closer.
