It is hard to distinguish as the u channel and L are both the same material. This has worked for me.

I have been having this same problem on my Max, my dealer talked with sc and they do have an aluminum channel as a replacement. Parts are hopefully getting in today

My 12 dividers are bowing From the 1100’s. Wake makers sell braces to help. I plan on addressing on the off season

Screws popped through my plastic channel a month ago. I added washers the width of the channel to hopefully hold through the season. So far so good...

This is interesting. I just checked my 2018 Craz tonight and mine are already aluminum. They must have know this was a problem and fixed it at some point in 18.

For all you guys wanting to brace the panels, there’s a cheaper way to do it than wake makers.
Go to tractor supply, Home Depot, etc. find some 1/8” steel L channel. They usually sell it in 1-2’ sticks. Grab some #8 machine screws, washers and nuts. Drill a couple holes in the channel, then through the panels when it’s mocked up. Slide a screw through and nut on there and roll with it. Can be done for less than $30 and takes about 30min...
