I have heard that straight pipes with FAE is actually quieter. Have not heard or seen a boat with this yet though.
My Mom said I'm not allowed to get wet!

I already had the FAE and my fiberglass mufflers started leaking.
I will link the YT video of it running on the trailer.
IMO wet headers are pretty reasonable and this is nowhere near that loud.
It has a very nice sound.

Update
First off, here is the original pic, since I was previously using Photobucket and it no longer shows.

Secondly, I finally got my pipes from Larry.

Pipes look and sound great. He was able to add baffles in the straight section to really knock the sound down. Funny thing is that it is a hair louder in the boat, but quiet from behind. Stood at the dock as my son drove away, and it was very stock if not quieter sounding.Joe

Thanks for the follow up. For us with older boats, fabrication is the only way to go.

Its most likely louder in the boat due to the resonation off the metal tubes compared to the fibreglass
