Much respect for guys like Josh (and David) that keep wakeboarding alive. Don't get me wrong, surfing is cool and all. But it seems more and more are abandoning wakeboarding because surfing has such an easier learning curve and exertion level.
We mostly surf now because that's what everyone wants to do. I like both but don't get in enough wakeboard time any more. Add to that that I am 48, sustained a concussion from the boarding so surfing may be better in the long run. I still have a while until I get too old though. My wife loves my new wakeboard so that may get us more board time this summer! I still love boarding though.
