Mother's Day Help
OK, guys. I am not good at this gift giving thing or the etiquette. Looking for some sound advice this year as all of you are experts on everything. I know I have to get something for my Mom but what about my wife? I mean, she's not MY mother, right? And, what do you get your wife for Mother's Day if you have to get her anything at all? Something that says, "You are my Mom"? Or, "You are my kids' Mom"?
Anyway, my Mom likes to have an ice cold beer and likes to grill. She's also into being green and recycling and reusing stuff. So, I had a great gift idea for her. Keeps beer cold and you get to grill. When you want to put the fire out you just pull the handle:

I get my wife a Mother's Day gift. She's the stepmom to my son and that's one of the most underappreciated roles out there, so I want to make sure she knows that she's honored and appreciated.
She's not the type that requires big elaborate gifts. Every year we go to to a home show that my work puts on, and it has a really nice plant sale. I have her pick out a nice hanging flower basket and that's her Mother's Day gift. it's simple, but she loves it.

I would go with a vacuum or other small home appliance like an electric can opener. Just watch her face light up when she opens it! You may even want to video the unwrapping.

Wives love to receive appliances and it is sure to get you some. If not there is always the vacuum cleaner.

Don't forget the other favorite of moms: exercise equipment. I'm thinking of the "Shake Weight" this year.
