How cold can the water be?
Anyone knows how cold the water can be for a raw water cooled engine?
My new Mondo will be delivered in late May......and the water will be around 45f .....
I asked indmar, but didn't get any feed back.Sampp

As long as the water isn't frozen you can go boating. The impeller is the only part that requires water to not self destruct, and it is before the thermostat.
If the engine can't get to operating temp the only thing that happens is it runs in cold mode and that means Rich fuel mixtures causing you to use more fuel.Malo <--- Means--Evil or Mean One. This explains a lot.

You'd have to worry about air temps if you are going before they stay above 32 deg F.
