    Default found this under the engine, any idea what it is and where it goes?

    was looking around under the transmission trying to find where the screw is to the little screen for when I do the oil change and found this nut and lever just sitting on the floor underneath. It looks like it is some kind of shut off valve but i couldn't figure out what it goes to. Anyone know?

    I cant drink those any more. I guess i could if I HAD to... you know as not to offend anyone, or if it was free, or cold, or in my fridge, boat etc.

    Like Newty said it is the Engine cover latch. You should also be on the lookout for a locking washer.
