Projected Last Day on the Water
With all the talk of winterizing and winter storage (BTW, it's 91 deg. F here right now), I thought it would be cool to ask everybody to try to project your last day on the water in 2013. Remind us of where you are located.
Mine: Tallahassee, FL, November 9. Usually too cool after that to get up a crew.My Mom said I'm not allowed to get wet!

Sadly, here in IL, I think we may have already reached had our last day last weekend............not because the weather isn't still good, just too far from the cottage in MI to go for just the day with school and other activities going on. I keep telling my wife we need to get our priorities straight!!

This Sunday I am taking my boat out of the water. Too much going on and I want to try winterizing it myself with the great instructions here on the forum site.

Buy a damn wet suit,we will go as long as we can till the cold becomes to much that it takes the fun out of it,but we always try to have it winterized and stored before Thanksgiving.

It's not so much the cold, it's the rain.
When you gotta wear the wet suit when you're INSIDE the boat too...So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
