Unhappy Moomba Outback Swim Platform - leaves black marks on body & boat. Is there a fix?

The black on our swim platform comes off and leaves marks all over. Has anyone else experienced this and have you found a solution?

    Thanks,
    R

Mine did this... My short term solution was to scrub the hell out of it with a brush and simple green. Then soak it in armor all and I think I put WD-40 on it too... This worked for me for all of last season... Long term solution is to replace it...

best solution is to rip it off and put something nice, new and comfy on it.

there are sheets you can buy & trim yourself from Agenda Surf & Gator Grip and there are also are a few other products available, too.

Got that out of order. 1. Call Seadek. Wait about 5 weeks. But it takes 4 weeks to scrape that crap off anyway.

You aint kidding about waiting twelve years to let that old glue harden! I waited until we had the two hottest days of the year so far (105 in NorCal) and wasn't sure if the stinging was the sweat in my eyes or the gas fumes (Which I did NOT use and do NOT recommend!)

But I get more compliments on that stupid pad!!

I don't have the extra money to replace the factory pad. That will be my offseason project. I used Westley tire bleach and scrub brush and so far no black has been coming
