It's amazing to me that through a common thread (s/c boats) a bunch of Christians come together to do gods work. When it comes to character the Moomba crew is above and beyond.

They were unable to do the EKG today but there were many positive signs. They weened him off the sedation drugs and he opened his eyes. His color was good and he even moved his arm.
Again tomorrow will tell us more with the EKG. They also want to see if they can get him breathing on his own.

I've gotten more details and what makes this more miraculous is he was given CPR for 25 minutes before the ambulance arrived to the location of the accident. He was given CPR for another 25 minutes in the ambulance until they could establish an airway. My cousin was with them. She was in the coast guard and was a cop, her where with all to pull my dad from the car despite her injuries and administer CPR is nothing short of a miracle. She saw him turning blue and knew she had to act, eventually passers by came and helped relieve them, getting him to come in and out of consciousness during their 25 minute fight waiting for the ambulance.
So we'll keep praying, hope for the best, and plan for worse.
