I know this looks idiotic. But from the looks of it, they were on a good size lake with no one around, and there's a guy in the bow shooting the vid in case the surfer fell off the wave. So really, no one was in danger and it was pretty cool to watch! The thing I don't understand is how he kep the steering wheel from turning by itself. Now if someone were to do this with no one in the boat, now THAT would be completely idiotic. Unless of course he had an extended lanyard to the kill switch )
