Search is giving me the blues...
So Im trying to search "engine oil" or "oil change" and it keeps removing the word "oil" from my search because it is "too common or too short". Any suggestions on how to find out which oil is recommended for my 05LSV with the 325? Or any place I can look to see if anyone has gone synthetic? Thanks in advance...

It's 15w40 you want, and if the boat has more than 100 hrs. you can use synthetic. If you want an owners manual for the boat, go online to the Moomba website and you should find it there, or google the engine!!

Is it good old fashioned car engine oil? For some reason I thought it was marine oil or something. There was a thread on here about all the different oil filters, but of course I cant search that either.

Nice! I was thinking just put in "change" and "synthetic" and you'll get it all.

From the owners manual:
Indmar recommends 15W-40 Pennzoil Marine in their
engines. If not available, use a 15W40 motor oil with an
A.P.I. classification rating of SL/SJ/CI4/CH4/CG4 or
equivilent. Synthetic oils are not recommended until after
the engine has been run for 100 hours.
