Default Flow 2.0 vs. Flow 3.0

I was hoping the community might help me with some advice.

I have a 2013 Moomba LSV that I'm open to upgrading, but fine waiting for the right boat.

I'm looking at a couple closeout 2024 Moomba Craz's. I found one I like except for one thing. It "only" has Flow 2.0 and not the Flow 3.0 system I targeted.

We're not anywhere close to elite surfers, but do like to go out with the kids and want to be sure we have a good wave. Know it will be MUCH better than my LSV, but will I regret not having 3.0 on this boat? Salesperson says it's important on the larger boats, but not an issue on the Craz, which is why they didn't put it on this otherwise-loaded boat.

Any thought or advice? Alternative would be to look for a used boat, perhaps a Mastercraft XT22. Unfortunately, the 2022 or newer models are still too pricey, so might mean waiting a year or two.

    Any thoughts would be appreciated!

Flow 3 improves the wave and the cleanliness of what it looks like. It creates more of a "yaw effect" of the hull. Helps the boat ride more level - less roll, but would not change the size of the wave b/c that has to do with weight/ballast in the boat.

The Flow 3 has a second actuator that is automated with the surf system - Moomba magic. It directs water flow from the hull (rooster tail) to how the wave behaves behind the boat - delayed convergence effect.

To explain it a little more, take a look at this:

I have flow 3 on my Mojo, but would not hesitate on a 2024 Craz with flow 2, good reviews out there on that boat with flow 2.

Flow 2 vs flow 3 you would notice if you had flow 2 now. Since you don't, I'm not sure it would matter to you but MJH is correct.

My question would be G3 vs G6. G6 is the 6 pump setup.

I have flow 3 on my 2021 Craz and it works great but I don't know that I would notice a big difference if I went to a flow 2 ( heck, I actually think one of my 2nd actuators isn't fully working right now and it still surfs fine haha). If you can get a great deal on it I would think you will love it. With it being a 2024, talk of tarrifs, inflation, etc I would see if I could negotiate a great deal. I would think that dealers are a little concerned about moving inventory this year.

I agree. Been on Flow 2 boats and they work great.

Assume there will be 4.0 unless they total redesign and rename to something else for marketing purposes.
