Default Tires for '22 Mojo on Boatmate tandem

had a blowout and another tire go oblong on me towing last week. Need to replace all 5 tires. I'm looking at Goodyear Endurance. Couple of questions:

    1) In the 205 width, I can only get D rated - I like to be able to tow at 70-75mph if I can. Is the D rating enough in this case?

    2) I can get the 225 in E rated. Will 225's fit in the fender wells?

    Thanks!

Sub-question - I also need a fender after the blowout, I understand boatmate sells them, but do they sell the EVA pads that go on top of the fender?

I believe the 2022 mojo and my 2015 are similar in weight. I also leave my 500lbs on lead in the boat.

I believe the 225 will fit assuming you have the 15" or 16" wheels. It is only 10mm further on the inside. However, I run D rated Freestar trailer specific tires and haven't had a problem. Been to Norris and back a few times and some tar and chip rough roads. They handle it well and still looks new.

Shop around. It was cheaper to buy 5 wheels and tires mounted and balanced with shipping then towing the boat to a tire shop or somehow taking them all off and bringing them in.....I now realize that was pre-covid so take that for what it is worth.

Thanks, appreciated. I found a good deal with some coupon help from a family member through Goodyear on the Endurance. I bought the D-rated 205's. The reviews on the forums are very positive for that tire. Should keep me plenty under their weight rating even with my lead.

The Goodyear Endurance have a higher speed rating which should help your problem.
