    Default Best wake surf vests?

Was looking for a good USCG approved vest. Found a few online below but new to the surf game so was hoping to get some insight on what you guys liked or to hear maybe which of these would be best, one of which is very different. Traditional vs. v-back. Looking for comfort and a decent float as it is pretty annoying for beginners on the boat when they are on their back and falling back in water with their heals on board. When I don't idle they're choking on water, when I idle forward they lose the board .

As a good lower cost option, I have a bunch of hyperlite Indy jackets and really like them. Comfortable and $50 apiece

If you are not in a hurry for them, Costco will have them at the end or very beginning of the season. They are Hyperlite Indy made specific for Costco (colors). Real nice and $50 for adult and $30 for kids. They are actually back in-stock now.

Agreed. The Hyperlytes from Costco are great. I have a few. My only knock on them is that the ones I have are gray. I like bright colors so that it is easier for other boaters to see the kids in the water.

Is this the same one? You think these are better than Obrien options above?

The Costco ones are actually nicer than those.

I will see if my local Costco has any. That said I assume these run small? I wear a medium to large shirt (large shoulders, medium waist) and I am always nervous with life jackets. I put on an O'brien large the other day and it felt pretty snug. Always nervous to buy from anyone but Amazon when it comes to returning things.

Costco is good about it. Check the local store though for sure. I have seen the kids version be $39 online and the $19 in-store. The fit is pretty good. For me XL shirt and XL vest.

Being M/L shirt I would buy the L vest.
