Teens on my Ford 6.0 pulling the boat. But it stops great and still has lots of power pulling out of steep ramps.

Since I only put 2-4k per year on it, this truck will last longer than me.

Still have a soft spot for the old Super Duty look and that is a sexy Excursion all blacked out. RIP my old 2005 F350...

Actually thought about finding something like this as a family wagon, boat/trailer hauler, park it until you need it. Then get a CTS-V or something fun for the daily. But Momma said nope. Apparently we are already approaching used car lot status when the kids are home...
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?

It was called rock harbor. It was between cedar grove and straight creek marinas.

I was in Lone Mountain. Between Straight Creek and Jimmy's but closer to Jimmy's.
We spent most of our time past the Railroad bridge just right of Lone Mountain dock.....Glass for miles.

It’s a big venture just driving in that sub division. My friends just put their house on the market in there. Roads just keep going and going.

Love that side of the lake.

I have friends that just made their vacation home their permanent home in Lone Mountain Shores. We were seriously thinking about investing there also. Having them know the area for the last 20yrs, they are looking to help us see what is available. The south side of Norris is so calm compared to the Powell area.

One year we rented a house close to the parking lot and dock in that sub division. Lower section.

Everyday someone would drop-off and pick-up everyone at the dock. Nobody wanted to walk the hills.

I still keep my permit b/c my buddy keeps his Supra there. We still head up 1-2x/month for day trips.

The views are amazing, the dock set up is really nice, property is reasonably priced.

Yeah, the climb up from dock to parking lot does suck.

Next time you are in Rock Harbor subdivision, drive down “feldspar” and experience a 16% grade…..lol

Makes the road down to the marina look like childs play.

If you ever get into Lone Mountain.....try Whistle Valley to Timber Creek to Chimney Rock. Not only are you pulling 10-12% all the time, you have hairpin turns and then you have to get back down.....lol

Would go back right now though...let's not fool ourselves The view if you make the climb (boatless), is priceless!
