2012 Moomba mojo 2.5
Hi! We are considering two different Moomba boats, one is a 2012 Moomba mojo 2.5, however it isn't in the Moomba archive of boats and I can only find one review of it on line. Am I missing something? Does this boat actually exist? The photo's the dealer took don't gel with the photo's on the review particularly around the surf platform? Help?
The other boat is a 2013 Mobius lsv, all seems good with it...
Looking for information.... appreciated.

2.5 does exist. It's the pre-2014 version before they added the Raptor engine and an additional 0.5' to the hull.
I have a 2013 mojo 2.5 and love it, but I came into it from a 20 year old 19' runabout.
Our mojo surfs very well after adding a bunch of additional ballast and surf tabs. Very high freeboard.
I don't have any prior v-drive experience so I can't help you compare/contrast with the LSV.2013 Mojo

Both are great boats. It really depends on the condition of the boat and the activities for which you will use it. If you like to ski, lean toward the LSV. It can do it all. If you are going to be mostly surfing with some wakeboarding and have lots of friends, then the Mojo 2.5 is probably a better choice. Also think about storage. Storage in the boat-- more on the Mojo. Garage space-- Mojo is a bit bigger. Whatever you choose, post up some pics and join the fun on here.

I've owned the LSV and currently the 13 Mojo 2.5
I prefer the Mojo for so many reasons it's hard to list them
The only reason other then price and condition to not get the Mojo is storage space for the boat its self.
I love my Mojo way more then I did my LSV.
This is our 5th summer with it, the LSV only lasted 4. No intentions on selling my Mojo

Just to clarify, doesn't the current 23' Mojo hull begin with 2015 models? I think 2014 would still be the 2.5 (22.5') Mojo.

If you are able, make the jump to the 15 or newer Mojo. That extra half inch and the competition hull is amazing!!

Yup, it's called the SC hull, not to be confused with the SC model, it stands for Supra Competition. Many people think the 15 and up Mojo hull is an SA hull, that's simply not true, it is, in fact, a version of the Supra Competition hull.
