How do you edit posts?

You only get 15 minutes to edit a post.

Make your next post and look at your options below it will have Edit Post but only for 15minutes

Just send me the replacement text in a PM and I'll cut and paste it and delete the other post. Make sure you mention the thread and post number in your request.

can we increase the time limit to 20 minutes? That probably would be long enough for everyone and mods wouldn't have to be cuttin' and pastin'.

not as easy to keep track of posts when people can go back and change what they said?

In the past this was a major issue, the change was brought on to eliminate negative posting then altering it after to make yourself look good. I do NOT see this time constraint being changed. If you are making a long and complex post , i suggest you use the copy function before hitting the submit button so it is not lost before posting.
