I checked out odmp Newty an said a few extra prayers last night. Hollywood was very loved and respected. Your FIL was a hero in my eyes and in the eyes of a lot of other people and someone to look up to.

Hollywood... lol never heard him called that. I guess that was a nickname he earned when he was a new recruit in L.A.Last edited by newty; 04-10-2012 at 11:27 AM.

After 93 years, my Grandmother has taken the journey to His kingdom. She and my Grandfather were both tough, 2nd generation Irish that ran a successful dairy farm in NW PA. They taught my brother and I invaluable life lessons and instilled us with a work ethic I cherish.

Thanks, guys. You are correct, she led a full life and is in a better place now as her mental and physical capacities left months ago.
I think of all she experienced in this world from wars to advances in medicine and technology and I wonder in amazement what life may have in store for me and my children.

If this is the grandma I think it is, God bless and keep her for all time! She helped shape the man I know as my good friend. The world is a better place for her efforts. May she rest in peace.
