    Smile Deerfield Skiing

Yesterday, for the first time this season, I skied. Secretly I feared that I would not get up on the first pull. Got up every time, dropping just to rest, which was often. My oldest son took video and middle son drove. My sister the videographer is staying with us for a week and will show me this evening how to post on the forum. Stay tunned............

If your avatar is any indication - I certainly am looking forward to seeing the video.

    Still looking forward to video...

PS . If you have the video as an AVI file, you can load it into Windows Movie Maker and save it as VHS quality to make a much smaller video file, still of reasonable quality for web.

Technical trouble getting video and pics posted. Camera is a Father's Day gift (Nikon Coolpix S6000) from Mrs. D. When uploading them to the forum I get an error message because the still images are too big. Need to figure out how to make them smaller. Have not even tried posting the video. Hopefully help is on the way. My sister is due back to our house this evening from a side trip. Sorry for the delay. Stay tuned..........

Easy answer: Right click on the file and choose "open with", select the "paint" program that every computer has. In paint go to "image" in the menu at the top, then choose "stretch/skew". Choose 50% or 30% if the files are really huge. Make sure the horizontal and vertical numbers match. Click "OK" and then resave the file with a different name. Then try to post the smaller file. Good luck!
