Jabsco Ballast Puppy Alternative?
Simer makes a 12V reversible utility pump that is capable of 600 gph. Pump is about $50 a peice at Fleet Farm. Link is http://www.simerpumps.com/pdf/SIM567.pdf Seems to me that it could be used just like the Ballast Puppy, but a heck of a lot cheaper. What do you all think?

Sure. It's what I have. They are not ignition protected though.

I now understand the ignition protection. However, I was not planning on putting the pumps in the engine compartment. I was going to place them in the storage compartment, like the '09 systems. Except, I would have the pumps placed towards the front of the compartment instead of in the rear, possibly one stern and two port.
The main thing I want to know is if these pumps will get the job done?
