Best prop for 13 Mojo... And where to get it
Hey all, had some bad luck this weekend and tore up my prop pretty good. The wife and I are still pretty new to the inboard world... Long story short... with some adjusting of trailer depth while loading the prop got into our trailer. I plan to send the stock OJ prop in for repair to use as a spare, not sure where the best place would be.
For a new prop I've been looking at the ACME 1235 but I'm curious what other mojo guys are using. I run stock ballast and usually 6 or more passengers... Can be a bit sluggish out of the hole but tops out around 45 with the OJ stock prop. We mostly wakeboard with ballast full and cruise at around 30mph. We do some skiing and tubing as well. We're also planning to get into surfing next season.
I've found decent prices at wake props and nettles online... Any suggestions? I need it by Friday for the weekend.
Thanks!2022 Moomba Mojo

You're hitting 45mph with a 1235 on a Mojo? I have the same setup and have only hit 38 to maybe 40. I have the 345 engine. What RPM's are you hitting?

45 with my stock OJ. Thanks for the detail though, certainly answers one of my questions.

Ah... my confusion was "Stock OJ" Mine came with the 1235. What is the diameter and Pitch of the prop you have now?
1235 is great out of the hole. When my ballast is full, it's about 2400 pounds, and it handles it fine.2019 Moomba Mojo

Call nettles or wakemakers. Both are excellent resources. Wakemakers took care of a friend of mine who busted his prop on Friday and had a new one at his door Sat morning. Cost a bit of coin, but he was on the water.
Nettles can take care of the new prop & repair. Great guys.

Yep, I've been messaging him... I've also got emails in to Nettles and Wakeprops.com to see what they recommend. If there was something right in between the stock OJ 14.25 x 14.5 and the ACME 1235 I thing that would be perfect... but maybe the ACME is the best option.

The 1235 is the best prop for the MOJO IMHO. It will do everything that you want to and more, you will lose a little in your top end as i have had mine up to 39.7MPH and thats all she would give me. And it will also handle great amounts of weight. We have had 3800 lbs of ballast for wakeboarding in my MOJO and it handled it like a champ. Hope you get a prop on time.
