We have done a ton ourselves. I'm tired of working on it! I'm sick of insulation and my garage looks like an electrical supply store exploded! Getting close and can't wait to start using it. Boat will come home Wednesday.

Try spending 3 years on a project, like I did in 2000. Pulled off a single car garage, and attached a double car garage and sun room. I thought I'd never be done. Only thing I didn't do myself was the foundation, pad, driveway, windows and stucco.

Oh and I broke three ribs near the end of the project, on something unrelated, and had to let it sit for 3 months. Luckely the drywall was already up.

Custom sizes, and expensive. I didn't want the responsibility if something happened during installation, dropped and broken. Just as well. Some of the stuff didn't fit right and it was the contractors headache.
