Window tint any one?
I was talked out of going darker by the tint guy and now I wish I would have gone darker. What do you think?

I did remove it. It was very simple. Just take out the rubber strip under the window and you will see the screws. There is one screw on each side at the bend of the window that is a machine thread with a locking nut on it so its kind of a pain but I just used some vise grips and a cordless. Then you will need a short right angle phillips under the tower at the back of the windows. Took me about 15 minutes total to get them out.
I shopped around and paid $175 but the highest bid I got was $299. So it pays to look around. I did the 30% and wish I had done 20%.

Newty, looks good and i agree darker would have looked a little better, but... have you been out on the water with it yet? Reason I ask is on my 03 I had the windows dark tinted (a week before selling) New owners said it was very hard to see out-I had not been out with it at that point, but we were together for the maiden voyage's and i got in the boat and sat down in the drivers seat and it was very diffacult to see thru. Hate to say it, but I peeled the tint off right then and there- Funny thing is at that point it was not my boat.
Man that must be nice to have the tower up while in the garage-and nice banner!!Hey, Its Moomba time

X2 on that Daze! It really looks good but my experience is it acts like a mirror on the inside and reflects everything! I was going to do it on one of my other boats until i saw that.
Oh yeah awesome garage height! I also wish i could do that!Last edited by Razzman; 03-24-2009 at 07:49 AM.

Because it is lighter tint, its much easier to see. I never really look thru the windsheild anyway.
Funny thing about the height of the garage, I have to move my florescent light over 4" so the tow point on the tower would fit.
I guess I could have straightened out my garage a little. kinda messy.
I can still fit two cars and a the boat which is more than I can say for most of my neighbors.
