Help - running transducer canle

2010 Moomba LsV.

I’m replacing my depth gauge and transducer - old one died.
Installed the new gauge - that part was easy.

Part 1. I removed the two aluminum floor pieces. Removed the old cabling. But I’m really struggling with how to run the cable from the gas tank area to behind the driver side console. Is there a way to remove the floor where the driver is? Has anyone else
Needed to run cabling here? The ski locker doesn’t provide access back here either. On my thing I can think of is to try and fish the new wire through using phishing rods?

Part 2. Man is the transducer ever tough to remove. Any tips or tricks to do this? Mine looks like the picture attached. Not much access at all to get hammer / screwdriver / chisel in there. Any other ideas?
