2008 Moomba LSV Cruise Control stuck

Greetings
I have a 2008 Moomba LSV.

My factory crusie control is stuck on 2900 rpm.
The Moomba Cruise switch is OFF, but I cannot get above 2900 rpms.

Once I get to 2900, the Moomba Cruise green light illuminates, and I cannot go above 2900rpms.

Any ideas on how to disconnect??? I never use it and don't need it.

Anyone experience this???

If the cruise control stays on even after the the engine has been turned off I would probably look at the wiring behind the dash and just disconnect it. I can't remember what the back of the cruise control switch looks like but i would guess you could just disconnect it.
