Curious why you switched, isn’t the LSV recently updated?

Don’t get me wrong, you will love the SA.

Black flake for main panel. Dark graphite rail interior, with white base, and red accents.

I did enjoy the Malibu. Had a plush feel to the interior, great lines, with a 450. No quality issues at all. Bought the 2015 23 LSV in 2019. This was our first wake boat even though I learned to surf behind a G23 which can spoil you. Malibu wave was good for beginner and intermediate surfers. Hearing issues with Malibu quality over the past couple of years. 2015 Malibu was well built. The newer versions have more weight, but you still have PNP bags that limit storage.

Supra SA will compete with the G23 with the wave. G23 is steep with push. Supra doesn't cost as much as G23, but excellent performance. Malibu is a good wave, but more for the middle of the road surfer. At 5800 lbs. with 3500 lbs of ballast with a deeper hull, wave performance is measurably better than the Malibu. Walked onto a Supra SL and Malibu 23 LSV at a boat show. Loved the Supra SA at the dealer. The interior and the 2021 features are top of the line. Subfloor ballast, more storage, heated seats, bow space, transom walk through (bought filler cushion), rear facing seat and table, JL speaker system, lighting, and a great tower. Malibu tower puts the speakers a touch farther back. Need to really blast the speakers. Also, give me JL over any other speaker system.

Not married to any manufacture or what is popular at the lake. Married to quality, feel, and performance. Must do your homework when buying a wake boat. Also tested the MC NXT24. That was a solid boat.

    Someone did some homework! lol

Supra sounds perfect for you and your family. I have to admit, first time I've seen anyone cross shop an NXT line with premium towboats. I had originally looked at the NXT line, but could not believe how spartan and featureless they were. They looked cheap. A bow filler cushion wasn't even available, nor was sea deck/gator when I was looking last year. I know MC builds a stout boat for sure, but I wanted a bit more frills for my 100K.

It's because it says Mastercraft and you can get the newest 24' boat at a decent price. Would rather have new Mojo or Makai. The XT line is similar in price to Supra, the X series boats are way next level in price.

If NXT’s are in the $150’s that is hilarious

    That’s XT range.

24’ NXT is 110-115ish average equipped, typical discount

Not much for names here. I wanted to see the top end value boat for Mastercraft. Had already been on a Moomba Mojo. Owned a Malibu so no need to get on an Axis. The NXT is a solid boat. Good wave and with the right lead, wave could be pretty strong. A lot of storage. Like most value boats, a bit spartan. XT had the features but wave is the same. MC's Klipsch speakers were the worst compared to Supra/Nautique JLs and Malibu's Wet Sounds. Only boat I have not been on is the Centurion. Most of my time has been on Malibu and then Nautique G23. G23 owner said the Centurion has a big wave but push is lacking what Nautique and Supra have.

Some people buy name or they just like the way a boat looks and feels. Had a friend try the MC X23 and Malibu 23 MXZ. He didn't like the MC. Had another friend say the opposite. My son liked the MC X23 wave better than the G23 we surf regularly. People like what they like.

I love what Supra has put together. #1 is wave #2 is quality #3 is look/feel #4 is features. I am happy. Just need to try everything to know what you really like.

Completely agree with you about getting out on as many as you can, and I wasn't knocking the new NXT offerings, because if you do want a large new boat, they'd be hard to not look at. I also agree Supra has it a bit figured out with performance, features, quality and most of all, value. Welcome to the show! Enjoy the ride!
