Not positive here, but the dealer who figured out the problem and the fix is local to me.

It was not just an alternator replacement, it also required a wiring reorientation.

I recall the bad harness on the Supra boats. I think it was ? 19 models ?
Lots of alternator replacements before it was figured out.

Exactly, so if your alternator was replaced and wiring not fixed, it would kill your alternator again.

Yes, it was 2019 models with the 240amp alternators.

I did! Mine was done in May, I think that was before the harness was known bad.

Somebody was just posting on Facebook about their 2020 SA alt going bad after 20 hours. I do hear that much of that in 2020.
