Plastic Cover Over Amp Rack Board
Hi everyone. I'm thinking of installing a colored acrylic/plastic/poly-carbonate cover over the amp rack board in my Moomba Mondo. I have three amps, an equalizer, a power distribution block and a cross flow fan at the end to keep things cool. We store towels and life jackets in this area. I'd like to keep those items away from the amp rack. Adding LED back lighting to the cover certainly would finish things off.
Has anyone done this? If so, what type of plastic was used and thickness?
Thanks

I searched the internet and could not find what I was looking for so I came up with this. I ended up using 1/4” frosted polycarbonate that was cut with a CNC machine and secured with 3” stainless steel standoffs. The panel protects the amp fan and the “other stuff” from the towels and life jackets.
