I tried a few backrolls last summer and came close. I dont think I was getting enough of a pop. Now I've got em down on the trampoline and can see I need a good pop to get full rotation.
Should this flip feel the same on the water.? the initiation.then the rotation and landing. Im excited to take it to the water now since I have a much better feel for the trick. Thanks.
When I teach people how to do backrolls on the water after they can already do them on the tramp generaly people just have trouble with the landing.
Do a couple solid wake to wake jumps first then go for it throwing the same side roll rotation you would do on the tramp. Remember to keep the rope LOW and orientiated to your hips, That will help your rotation around. Good luck.
Thanks-Ill give it a try this weekend. As long as I put the board down Ill be happy. Its those crashes when I come up short that hurt the ribs. I was throwing it way to early. thanks
