2019 Houston Boat Show (worth going?)
Will be back in Houston during this show. Wondered if anyone has been in the past / is it worth attending? Most shows are in February and most major brand rebates have long expired. Curious...

It's not nearly as big as the one held in the spring but if you have free time to drool over boats it may be worth your while.

and if there's not many boats to drool over you could always buy a new mattress, pick up some scentsy candles for the other half or some new cutco kitchen utensils

HAHA!
That's what we want to avoid.
I'd like to know if this is a "wanna be" show that isn't worth the time and money.
We are kinda spoiled with the giant Tulsa boat show. It's bigger than OKC's and Dallas even avoids the date overlap.

This would be Houston's smaller show.
Houston hosts a huge boat show in March every year.
....so like I said, if you have time to kill it could be something to do while in town but it's nowhere as large as our Spring Boat Show.
A better use of your time would be to kindly ask to go out to Lake Conroe, Lake Houston or the Trinity River with one of us to get some riding in

From the out-of-towner standpoint, when I'm there for work, I would drive by the boat show each day. Why not go if it's during the week?
Work during the day > Check out some boats in the evening.
That was for the early show.2018 Supra SL400

The Houston shows are always a good time, just walk around and waste a day looking at boats. Doesn’t get much better!
