But the fact that they bought NEST and created an ecosystem of home networking, automation & security, I don't think this is a vertical that will fall by the wayside.

Wow cool, I'm 20+ years in firewalls and enterprise networking, Bank One, Allstate, United Airlines, Northern Trust.. Not sure what the point of this is but, have you ever used google support or "customer service"? It's an experience..lol.
