WTB: 1999 Moomba Outback LS Ski Pylon
WTB: 1999 Moomba Outback Ski Pylon. I cannot believe someone ripped it out of a DD. I thought they would be easier to find when I purchased the boat.

A lot of work to break one loose. I used to see after market ones for sale that may be easier to find.

You are correct, they cut the bolts. I had to PB the bolts for 3 days and work them out with vice grips. I have found a 2 3/8 X 46 pylon. Looks like it would work, but probably 8” taller then the original. I would rather have the original. Still looking.

Says 2-3/8 x 46-1/4 is original size.

For not a whole lot of $$ you could have a taller one machined down to whatever you want - if it's a solid piece. I did that with my V-drive renovation - took easily 6-8" off the top.
So when is this "old enough to know better" supposed to kick in?
