    we fill our neoprene gloves and socks with hot water from the shower right before getting in the cold water and it really helps you stay warm. Every little bit helps

    Wow, i'd say that carpet turned out really nice. Never thought of dying it but that probably a good option to tie you over for a while. Great job

    The gloves I use keep my hands dry (they're kayaking gloves) so I've never had trouble there. My boat doesn't have a hot shower though and it's something I haven't had a huge amount of motivation to add. My booties keep my feet pretty dry too. Just the loss of board feel. But then again, when I surf in cold temps, I really don't wanna take a fall so I don't push myself. LOL
