This new update will update the home point where the controller is currently and constantly. That is huge when flying from a boat. You can manually update the home point from the screen manually at any time also but auto is the way to go. I haven't tried it yet.
That's awesome. I'm gonna go check for firmware updates tonight! HAHA. That said, it's rain and wind all during this week. LAME. so no boating for me.

I do know that the mavic controller is more advanced than the spark. it has inherent GPS and an LCD screen. so we'll see what I'm actually able to do.
