Vinyl ripped
Hey everyone
I have the first rip in my vinyl. It is only about a centimeter long and it is located at the very back of the boat on one of my ballast covers.
What have you guys found to be the most aesthetic and best quality repairs for stuff like this? I really want to get it fixed before it gets any larger

Locally, we have a guy/business called The Leather Doctor. He has repaired cuts and nicks in our vinyl. He uses some sort of professional repair kit that effectively welds the material. His repairs are invisible, durable and inexpensive. I've never had good luck with consumer repair kits but that might just be the lack of practice. I imagine that there are similar businesses around. We found him through the upholstery shop that we use.
