




Typical Saturday for me... Boat, women, ski, wakeboard, surf...
Had a friend on our boat. Never been wakeboarding or surfing. Had about a 1/2 hour session. a couple pulls to get up. a few pulls of line riding, and ended with a long, controlled freeride. That's how it's done for sure!
The biggest thing he did was actually listen to all the coaching I gave him and did exactly what I told him to do. I was impressed. (that said, if I would have had the right board, the right wave, and someone to coach me through exactly what to do; I would have been freeriding on day one also. But with a dirty direct drive wake I had to be content with rope slacking to start when my surfing adventures began).
All goes to say that it's really not that hard to get up to speed surfing.
