Sundeck walk across option
We have to close our build tomorrow and I'm on the fence about the sundeck walk across option. What does everyone think about this option? pros/cons? We will be going with Gatorstep throughout the boat as well.

Do it, it saves the vinyl bigtime. I like it so much I've added a "walk-thru" on the seat you step down onto from the sundeck. Just waiting on the GatorStep to finish it off.

The used Mojo that is now mine didn't have this option -- which is odd since it has about everything else. Does anyone know if this could be a retro-fit for the center sun-pad panel that covers the engine? I assume this would be pretty pricey to do aftermarket wise (trying to order a complete panel from the factory).

My SA has it,
Pros: Looks good, saves the vinyl
Cons: hard fiberglass border, hard on the knees. Sundeck is still usable but have to accommodate for the hard section in the middle.
Overall I like it and would probably want it on my next boat, don't like other manufacturer's that create a lower walk through which basically removes the ability for a sundeck.2017 Centurion Ri237

If you want it get it. It's expensive to add after the fact. Dealer kept trying to get my to buy a boat that was already on the lot and it didn't have everything I wanted so o ordered it. To add the wall across to the one on he lot was $1200. They said they would have to order the center hatch from moomba with it built in. Of course I picked that option on my new boat.

Pros: Works good
Cons: Factory material is not soft, very hot & shows scratches from people dragging their feet across it (or maybe it's just my friends/family) 🤣
If you are replacing with gator then I would for sure do it because it will be softer

Plus 1 on all these comments. It gets HOT in the SC Sun, but it allows for those that don't want to listen and take off their shoes (mostly the old folks) to walk across without my foot in their butt.
I found that folding any beach towel into 1/4 guys the space perfectly and makes the sunpad usable.
